Online archive – 2023 Exhibition

The 142nd Open Annual Exhibition of the RSW took place at the Royal Scottish Academy Building on the Mound, Edinburgh, from January 21 until February 16 2023. In the spacious Upper Galleries, the show featured over 300 paintings by RSW members and other artists who responded to the call for open submissions from Scotland, the UK and around the world. It is recognised as a showcase of the best painting in Scotland in watercolour and water-based media.
