After completing a post-graduate year at Edinburgh College of Art in 1979, I worked as a printmaker & part-time lecturer until around 1986 when I took up painting full-time from a studio in Glasgow’s Gallowgate.
Since then, I have exhibited my paintings and prints widely at home and abroad, in numerous solo and mixed exhibitions.
In the last few years I have published three limited-edition Artist Books; “Intaglio Shores”, “Outsider” and “Darkness Has Its Uses” (“The best descriptions of printmaking I have ever read”, Clare Henry). Most recently, my book, “Girl and Asteroid” was published by Nine Muses.
Currently I am trying to organise some ideas for paintings and prints gleaned from three separate visits to the German Rocket research and development sites in Peenemunde last year.
