The annual open exhibition of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour is a prestigious event that showcases the finest watercolour paintings from both emerging and established artists in Scotland. The RSW, has been at the forefront of promoting watercolour painting in Scotland for 150 years, and its annual exhibition is a testament to the enduring appeal and relevance of this art form in contemporary times.

In addition to the main yearly open exhibition, the RSW organises a biennial summer exhibition for members work, most recently at the remarkable Gairloch Museum in Wester Ross.
