Ruth Nicol RSW

Born in Glasgow in 1967 and graduating from Edinburgh Collage of Art BA Hons Drawing & Painting in 2010.

Selected for the Royal Scottish Academy’s New Contemporaries Exhibition in 2011 and professional member of the Scottish Society of Artist and Paisley Art Institute.

I was elected a  member of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour in 2024 and exhibit regularly with the RSA, RSW, RGI, PAI and commercial galleries across Scotland.

I work frequently and collaboratively with Alexander Moffat RSA and Prof in Scottish Literature Alan Riach  and have work held in several prestigious art collections.
