Sian MacQueen RSW

A graduate of Glasgow School of Art, Sian works as a painter and sculptor. Architectural forms, sky:sea:landscapes and the weathering of surfaces inspire her to create her many layered works.

Place and belonging are important themes. Most recently across her work geometry has played an ordered role. The works become tactile systems, seemingly capable of both shifting and becalming.

Works shown across Scotland and the UK. Sian lives in Argyll and works with Digital media artists on Creative Scotland funded eduction projects @talc Tarbert
