Artists Statement

"the soul of the commonest object" James Joyce
Neglected places, discarded "stuff", sea-shaped detritus, rusting metal, paint-flaking wood, tarred forms, torn plastic, sea-scoured, sand blasted,time and tide, wear and tear, aides memoire, time passing, always still.
Geometry, mythology, nostalga, regret, solitude.
Ambiguity of scale identify meaning.
