Artists Statement
Following a lectureship in ceramics at the Glasgow School of Art (1973 - 86) Douglas Davies has worked as a full-time potter and painter and now as a full time painter with studio and gallery. In November of 2000 he was elected an RSW (Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolours). In 2006 he was elected professional member of VAS(Visual Arts Scotland).
