Artists Statement

For the last 40 years I have developed my artistic concept of "Naboland", based on the chance find of a toy submarine and a Turkish newspaper article, and given it materialisation in the form of prints, drawings and installations that humerously reflect earlier times of exploration and discovery. For the last 6 years I have been working on a hand drawn animation ("Naboland News") that will be final proof for the existance of "Naboland".
